TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Below is an overview of our rental agreement. Please be sure to read the content in its entirety. Most of the information you will need to know before booking your memorable vacation is outlined below.

Rental Agreement Overview
Address	The Chalet is located on the corner of 45th Street & 405 Linda Lane, Wasaga Beach, ON
Arrival	Standard rental period is from Saturday to Saturday Check-in time is 3:00 p.m
Departure	The premises must be vacated no later than 10:00 a.m. on the agreed departure date.
Key	The Chalet has an electronic door lock. The owner will provide the necessary information prior to arrival.
Payment	Payment is required upon acceptance of the rental agreement. Fifty (50%) of the rental fee is required at time of booking. The balance is to be paid no later than forty five (45) days prior to agreed rental arrival date.
Security Deposit	A security deposit of six hundred dollars ($600.00) in certified cheque or cash is required for damage and cleaning. Assuming that the property is vacated in the same condition prior to arrival including inventory of the home, the security deposit will be returned no later than seven (7) days from the date of departure. Tenant’s responsibility of costs and damages are not limited to the amount of the security deposit.
Cancellation	The tenant has the right to cancel the booking up to 30 days prior to the arrival rental date. A non refundable cancellation fee of fifty percent (50%) of the total payment of the rental period will be charged to the tenant. If cancellation takes place later than 30 days prior to the start of the rental period then the cancellation fee is one hundred percent (100%).
Tenants Responsibility	The tenant is obliged to use the Chalet and all contents in a careful manner applicable to the item's purpose. The tenant is responsible for all damages caused by the tenant and/or the tenant’s guest(s). The tenant is personally responsible for damages to persons or belongings during the rental period, as owners insurance does not cover this. The tenant is responsible for, cleaning the chalet upon departure, household chores such as, dishes, vacuuming, bathroom cleaning etc. Tenants must remove all garbage upon departure. However, during the rental period garbage is to be placed curbside on the designated garbage day.
Smoking	Our premise is a smoke free environment
Pets	Although the owners are pet lovers, guests may have allergies. As such, no pets allowed.
